i hope there isnt this much work ALL year. i pretty much did homework all weekend. and gardened. and cooked. and cleaned my room. and did the washing. i feel like a nerdy housewife... except that i got most of my maths homework wrong. yeah i actually checked it because one of my resolutions was to do all my homework. camilla rang me and gave me a lecture on why i should attempt to like english and that i should get a maths tutor. she's also booked me a hairdressers appointment but wtf i didnt ask her to! luckily i can probably get money cos i'm in the good books at the moment. because of my recent cooking fetish i made basil polenta slices with tomato "relish" and fancy homegrown lettuce salad for ma famille. it was so wierd having a family dinner. very very odd. oh yeah the sydney uni guy rang about soccer but i refuse to talk about it because i dont want to jinx myself. talked to ella finally because she's been too lazy to ring me but when i rang it was maureen ("evil stepmother")who actually wanted to have a conversation. hehe. she called herself "evil maureen" or something when talking about herself.
yay for the arctic monkeys. i want their album when it actually comes out. i also want the new franz ferdinand so if anyone has a copy can i borrow it?
and and and the mother said i can do basketball. so. yeah. |

what is all this artic monkeys love all of a sudden! I hadn't heard of them until today and then I hear about them three times in one day. I'm curious! What are they like?
british, good with the guitar, crappy vocals. i cant compare them to anything cos i'm not muso-y enough to know but i like them. i heard a few of their songs on jjj over the weekend cos they were the feature artists. | |
